From the very first conversation I had with Lindsey, I knew this wedding was going to be special. We just clicked. She shared how she met Tony after she had more or less given up on finding “her person,” and then—life being funny like that—there he was. Tony came into her life with a daughter, and Lindsey stepped into the role of bonus mom with so much love and intention. As a fellow stepmom, that part of their story really resonated with me.
Lindsey and Tony were never interested in a cookie-cutter wedding day. Their vision was relaxed and completely true to who they are. No traditional first look. No formal cake cutting. Instead, their wedding day was centered on connection—on their people, their family, and the relationships that mean the most to them. They wanted all of the special “moments” captured.
Their November 15, 2026 wedding at Journeyman Distillery in Valparaiso was the perfect backdrop. The space itself has so much character, and paired with rich fall tones of deep reds and vibrant oranges, it felt warm, inviting, and effortlessly romantic. Jen from The Bloom Room absolutely nailed the florals—lush, seasonal, and perfectly aligned with Lindsey’s vision. Every arrangement added to the cozy fall atmosphere without feeling overdone.
One thing Lindsey emphasized early on was how important photos with family and friends were to her—and I loved that. Family portraits weren’t treated like an obligation but a celebration. You could feel how loved these two are just by watching the people surround them.
The entire day flowed beautifully thanks to Hannah from Hitched, who kept everything running smoothly and stress-free. Matt from 27 Entertainment brought the energy to the reception (as he always does) and kept the dance floor packed all night long.
